The Good, The Bad, and The (F)Ugly

Portraits, portraits, portraits.

Here is my self portrait. It is me at the Asbury Park Zombie Walk back in early October.

I like zombies. I like killing zombies more.

Here is my first memory photo, the one I'd keep.

Story behind this: I went to an Iron Maiden concert and it was the best damned concert I've been to (yet). I can really tell you every detail down to what I wore that day. Basically, it was me and two friends on the lawn at PNC, one hell of a thunderstorm, and the band on stage.

I edited the picture to look like their album cover to Number of the Beast.

At the other end, here is my bad memory. This time, I was leaving a concert and ended up rear ending someone, who then hit a 3rd car. Yeah, a car accident isn't that big of a deal, but what bothers me most is that I really don't know why I didn't see the guy stop sooner. Oh well.

On an ironic twist, I noticed that my best memory came from a heavy metal concert, while my worst happened after a punk rock concert (Offspring if you're wondering). Just thought that was a tad humorous in that the memories are on opposite sides of the spectrum, just like the band's genres that I saw....

My Death Bed

Here is my text based image. As said in class, it is suppose to be a guy in a coffin, and I'm glad you all got that.

Here it is with color and other imagery. Ta-da.

The text is lyrics from Pink Floyd's song Breathe.

For long you live and high you fly
And smiles you give and tears you cry
And all you touch and all you see
Is all your life will ever be

My idea is that life is just made up of the different ways we see and feel things. It's just our senses making our memories, and that's all. As for the idea of where I'll end up, I put a coffin, cause death is the only guarantee from life. Kinda grim, I know, but I think I just made a new quote for myself.

Rule of Three

Here is my Trippy Triptych. I edited the background to the guitar screen to make it less overplayed with "tabs" like Michael said =P and broke the borders of the panels a couple more times. I also added writing onto the desk in the panel with the book.

I'd like to later come back to this and edit it some more, with more detail into the desk and to the hallways in the school, but maybe for another day.

Still Life Edits

In the first one, I edited the size of the items as well as their location.

Here, I took away the background cause it seemed popular to not have one and I just wanted to fit in.

Life was still for that very moment

HERE, I give you, my STILL LIFE

Personally, I don't like still lives. They're boring and if you want them done perfectly, they have to be done pretty much at once. I'm rather content with how this original came out. As stated, the background isn't the best, mostly with the size comparison, but oh well. I'll upload my edits later.

IN MUCH MORE INTERESTING NEWS!

Did anyone see the naked biotch at OCC campus? Facebook is FIRING all over the place about her. I didn't see her though, but I saw this video of her! She's screaming something along the lines of "FUCK YOU I DON'T GIVE A FUCK WHAT YOU THINK ABOUT ME!", so my friend says. Biotch is whack!

Mother

For my first project, I give you, my mother, on the interblagz.

EDIT: Forgot that I was suppose to put what I was trying to do.

Well basically, I drew my mother like assigned. Getting used to the tools and what not. Later on, I threw in the background. I didn't want to do anything overly complicated, but didn't want something simple. However, I spent too much time working on my mother, and time gave out on me, so I did what is seen. As said in class, the path leads you away from the image with no intent to return. My plan was to throw a sun up in the upper right with rays leading back to my mother, bringing the image full circle.
